Analysing the determinants of sexual and reproductive health
As part of our commitment to support good sexual and reproductive health now and for future generations, we are developing a series of critical commentaries.
Each of the commentaries will focus on an area of sexual health within the wider context of people’s social, cultural and economic realities.
Aim of the Critical Commentaries
We aim to shed light on the complex mechanisms that impact on health outcomes for priority populations.
This includes analysing systemic drivers of health inequity and the disproportionate burden carried by Māori and minority communities in Aotearoa. It is intended that the information provided in these commentaries can support the development of innovative solutions that account for diverse communities and experiences.
